One great way to get exposure to your business is by helping out local charities where your business is located. You can do this on your own or by partnering with other local businesses. Doing so creates a win-win for all parties involved. The charity wins by earning money to support their cause and you win by getting more exposure for your business. So here is a real life example:

 

Let’s say you own a carpet cleaning business. You can reach out to other businesses in your area who also have services that cater to home renters or owners such as landscapers, plumbers, painters, etc. Next, each of the businesses would offer some above and beyond specials to be placed in the coupon book. Now is not the time to get stingy with the offer since you will most likely make it back on repeat business and referral business. Make sure that each business owner understands this concept.

 

After the coupon booklet is printed up you can then contact multiple charities in your area and offer to give them the coupon booklets for free to be sold at a certain price, with the understanding that they get to keep 100% of the money earned. Remember, this can be done with several other businesses or you can simply create your own coupon book for your business.
